Before, I go into the full review of CannasseursUK CBD Chocolates, I would like to talk about the CannasseursUK CBD brand. On the about us section on CannasseursUK’s website, it is stated that CannasseursUK has been invovled in advocating for the benefits of marijuana and CBD and has been started by a group of friends. I really like this element because friendship and a genuine commitment to help others with the benefits of CBD are very important facets of our modern society and also reflects the underlying objectives of CBD: to help people with anxiety and human interaction. The guys at CannasseursUK have been exceptionally friendly and business-minded from my very first interaction with them.
Before we go into the individual product reviews, it is important to look at the distinction between different types of CBD.

This Indica CBD Belgian Chocolate comes in a very luxurious yet practical packaging that is very suggestive of an artisan CBD brand. When shopping, you may have noticed how the standard chocolate is wrapped in a standard paper or plastic wrapper whislt chocolate from upmarket artisan chocolate brands is always handwrapped with ribbons and fancy wrappers. The Indica CBD Belgian Chocolate packaging comes in a royal moss green and sumptuous gold elements.
Indica CBD Belgian Chocolate is extremely velvety and has a very pleasant hemp/herbal smell. The chocolate is extremely rich and velvety. It is a dark chocolate so you may find it not as sweet as milk chocolate. I had about 6 cubes of chocolate at a time and admittedly, it made me feel pleasantly relaxed but not too relaxed so as not to want to do anything. This chocolate is perfect whilst working as it will give you a nice dose of sugar and CBD without clouding your judgment. This chocolate is something you would have with your traditional English tea at a royal country home!

This Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate Bar is definitely one of my favourites. A Cannabis Sativa whole plant extract from CO2 extraction, this offers the full range of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and phenols. This extract contains not only 14% CBD, but also other cannabinoids, primarily CBC, CBG and CBN. The most frequently occurring terpenes this CBD extract are myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, terpinols, linalool, alpha-pinenes, beta-pinenes, trans-alpha-bergamots and alpha-humulene. This Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate is 99% Belgian chocolate and is infused with Sativa CBD extract. This chocolate is extremely velvety, rich and moreish. When I first tried the chocolate, it reminded me of an artisan chocolatier in Knightsbridge. After working my way through half of this chocolate bar, I began to feel similarities with Galaxy chocolate. Sativa appears to have a milder hemp smell than its Indica counterpart. There is a technical explanation for this. When eating this chocolate, I get very mild and subdued sensations of hemp taste, but this does not overpower the sweet and chocolatey taste. The chocolate bar is very nicely packaged and would make a perfect gift to someone who enjoys chocolate and could benefit from CBD. A good way about consuming CBD in an edible form is to encourage people to add CBD to their everyday lives. I have noticed that a lot of people are still very apprehensive about taking CBD products due to their connotations with Cannabis. However, by infusing CBD into everyday products such as CBD chocolate and other CBD edibles, it is a perfect way of getting people to consume CBD.

Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate along with other chocolates are made by the firm’s Chocolatier Hendrick. It would be nice if the company could add a blurb about Chocolatier Hendrick on the about us section or even add his photo at the back of the chocolate bar. You may no doubt recall the Lindt UK tv advert with the master chocolatier. Indeed, by featuring a chocolatier in an ad, it helps for the brand to establish a better relationship with the consumer. I would recommend to the company to add a picture and a blurb about their chocolatier at the back of their CBD chocolate bars. The Dark Mint Sativa comes very close to After 8 mints. Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate strikes me as a very luxurious and middle class chocolate that is best enjoyed with traditional English tea. For this reason, I think that Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate is one of the best way for elderly people to benefit from CBD. Sativa CBD Belgian Chocolate comes inside a thin cardboard packaging with shades of mint green and elements of royal gold. I found this chocolate to be very refreshing and a classic choice when it comes to CBD edibles.

Indica CBD Belgian Chocolate Bar ( Contains 100mg of Indica Dominant 16.4% CBD whole plant extract infused into 40gr of premium Belgian chocolate. 16.4mg pure CBD per bar. 1.64mg CBD per square.) comes in a thin cardboard packaging with a combination of orange and gold colours. This dark chocolate goes very well with an orange flavour and remind me of Terry’s Chocolate Orange. The quality of the chocolate is second to none. When tasting this chocolate for the very first time, I could tell the quality of the chocolate right away: it is smooth, velvety and tastes like Belgian chocolate.

These CBD Belgian Hot Chocolate Stirrers are neatly wrapped up in plastic and gracefully tied together with a ribbon. The chocolate sits on top of a wooden stick. I tried to eat this CBD Belgian Hot Chocolate Stirrer without dipping it into hot chocolate. The chocolate is very hard to bite into and I would not recommend it. I made myself a cup of hot chocolate and dipped the CBD Belgian Hot Chocolate Stirrer for about 5 seconds. The chocolate top began to melt and when I eagerly sucked onto it, I got a very nice layer of warm, velvety and rich Belgian chocolate that that reminded me of a Nutella-based dessert. The entire CBD Belgian Hot Chocolate Stirrer lasted for about 10 good licks and dips and is a perfect accompaniment to any night in with a good movie, pajamas and a hot chocolate. Unlike the other CBD chocolate, this CBD Belgian Hot Chocolate Stirrer did not seem to have any hemp smell to it and tasted just like Belgian hot chocolate would.
Overall, I am very impressed with the CannasseursUK CBD Chocolates. Initially, I thought that this was a CBD chocolate company only seeing that I was sent only the chocolates. However, later, I saw that this CBD company also offers a range of other CBD products. Perhaps it is a good thing but I would have done that on a separate site because CannaseursUK is a “chocolate” only company. This is not to say that the company should not offer any other CBD products, but rather that it should position itself as a CBD Chocolate brand. Perhaps the company has a thing or two to learn from Raw Gummies, a Florida CBD company that specialises in making extremely quality CBD gummies. The packaging of all the chocolates is very luxurious and conservative with all the elements of an artisan brand. The chocolate quality is unforgivably good and is a testament to the company’s quality CBD suppliers and its master chocolatier. I would like to see more of the company’s chocolatier as I see him as a figure that is at the forefront of the brand. It is great to see the founders of the company on the website and it would be equally as great to see the chocolatier at the back of the chocolates. CannasseursUK mention that their Hemp/CBD is sourced from a family from Holland that has been growing hemp for over 20 years. This shows that the company is working with experienced hemp growers and this is reflected in the quality of its CBD chocolates. The effect of CBD is very covert. The chocolates tasted very much like quality Belgian chocolates should without too much of a hint of hemp or CBD. The chocolate does have a slight “hempy” smell which is very plesant and does not overpower the taste of chocolate.
